Thinking of trading my 45 for xd9
This guy wants me to trade his xd9 for my 45. Mine has normal barrel wear at the top and unknown round count. but other than that in really good condition. He says he had only 50 rounds down the pipe.
does a straight trade sound reasonable on his end here? i know that value of guns don't really go down.

Cause I can sell mine here for ~500 and get an xd9 for 400.

Look at it logically:
A trade costs you $100, per your own numbers. That effectively makes a new XD9 an additional $300 out-of-pocket, if you want one that badly.
Buy the 9 for your range practice, and keep the .45 for HD/SD.
