Conceal a 3.8 full size?

My brother and I went to Cabelas to check out the 3.8 full size and compact. I am wanting to buy the OD Green/Stainless full size as I love the color combo but obviously the compact (Black and stainless) would conceal better.

I'm 6' and 240 but slowly dropping my weight back to 200.

Do any of you guys conceal carry a FS 3.8?

Well 3.8 isn't full size..... 4.5 or better is and yes some people do CCW them without any issues.

You can cc a 3.8, its roughly the size of a glock 19. Not the easiest thing in the world but certainly not impossible.

It can be done you just got to find out what method of carrying is best for you. I have a 3.8 45acp compact and a 4.5 9mm.

Cool, thanks guys. I think I am going to order the 3.8 in OD/Stainless.

I carry my 1911 in a Crossbreed Supertuck now so I will probably buy another one for the XDm

I conceal an XDm.40 4.5" daily with no problem. The 3.8 would be a snap. The belief that you need a "compact" or smaller gun to conceal is a myth.

I got the 3.8 Compact for that reason. With the longer mags you have the longer grip. That's the hardest part of concealing is dealing with hiding the grip. The shorter grip goes a long way.

I dunno, I can't carry my 3.8 compact comfortably unless it's OWB - and then it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Get CBST & you shouldn't have a problem concealing it. Might have to play w/the cant a bit to see what works best.
