Leaving your XD bone-stock.

I've carried Glocks for years, on and off duty.
I recently bought a used XDSC 9mm from a friend. Took it to the range after trying to decide if I liked it or not.
I was really impressed. Very accurate, reliable, and I really liked the trigger on mine. Maybe because it's used and the trigger is well worn in. I don't know.
The only thing I will change is a set of night sights. It will become my new carry weapon.

Have 1 XD and 2 XDM's. Plan on leaving them as is. I like them as they are.

You can leave it stock but here is what you can do with just the following mods:
1) Grip stippling---so you can hold on to it better under stress
2) Drop in PRP trigger --- for better trigger control and more accurate shots
3) Canyon Creek tungsten guide rod --- for better recoil management
4) .100 Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight --- for better sight picture

Hitting your target and not bystanders = Priceless
(89rnds in the chest and 1 in the head at 10 yards standing off hand)

My XD-40 is bone stock. Shoots fine!

My XD9SC (carry gun) is bone stock.

Will probably leave mine stock. I am not real big on modifying trucks or guns, maybe I'm lazy .

Seriously, with anything that I own it serves me best to use it for awhile and see if there is something that doesn't meet my needs. If there is something better I weigh the cost vs. benefit and make my decision. Just my opinion.
