Where are you located at? $499 seems like the average price for XD.

I've seen websites advertise the XD for $399. But non-California compliant.

However, Turner in Southern California do sell the XD consistently for $399.

I <3 how it feels in the hand, fully loaded it is excellently balanced for me. My boss has an XD40 and based on how much he raves about it along with my own research in a CC and HD firearm my wife and daughter (12) can use as well put me into it without any other firearm coming close.

Reliability, ease of operation, ammunition selection, number of rounds, concealability and "feel" made this an excited purchase. I've wiped her down, dropped a little oil where needs be and off we go in a little over 2 hrs (range opens at noon :P).

I noted price mentioned.

499 seems pretty good, I got mine for 525 but I got the service 4'' with Heinie Tritium Slant Pro NS on it (as well as the "holster", mag pouch and mag loader combination).

I purchased mine from SAWS in Sunnyvale, TX (local dealer - I went and picked it up at the store).

The same package I got sells for $484 at Bud's Gun Shop and they seem to have really low prices. So i figured $499 was decent since I wouldn't have to pay transfer fees buying it at the lgs. The Tactical is more expensive than the Compact and Subcompact for whatever reason.

I got my XD9sc for $429 brand new from Vances Outdoors in Columbus, OH. $499 for the tactical seems fair to me. You will enjoy it!

2000 rounds strong with no issues whatsoever.
