If you have a good quality IWB holster ( i love the Crossbreed) and belt, there is very little you cant carry.
I carry in shorts/ t-shirt since its too damn hot in FL for much more (which is important to you too i see)
I have carried:
-5" 1911
-4" H&K USP
-5" Browning Hi power
-5" Beretta M9A1
-4" XD Service
-4" Sig226 (current gun)

Well the XD SC or the XDm 3.8 (SC) would have be a better choice for carry BUT I have used my XD Tac 5 in with my Crossbreed IWB. I am 5 10 145. Didn't really change any of my normal clothes either. You can do it easy since its getting colder and you can cover it with a jacket. Welcome to the XD Fam!

This depends on the person's size, holster, and belt.
Some people have a hard time concealing the 3" model. On the other hand I know another member here who conceals an XD 45 5" Tactical model on a daily basis.
The gun might be a little heavy for you, but you probably could conceal it. The issue you might have is concealing it in the summer since you live in FL.

That's no small pint pistol, but your bringing a whole gallon to the table if needed.
Like others have said...Right holster= no problem conceal carry.

I might conceal it during the winter and if i realy like my XD i might get a XD Subcompact for times when it gets warmer out... with the crossbreed and simular holsters how does it feel when u sit down in your car or in a seat? thats what i worry about not being comfortable in public sitting down or driving

I've taken many road trips & hikes, gone to the movies, dinner, all while wearing the CBST, without discomfort.
I even slipped and slid a few feet on my butt, coming down a steep hill. No problem.
It's @ 4-4:30 on the belt.
I'm 6-3 250.
