New Guy with some XDM questions

Hi guys I have a XDM40 I traded my Glock22 in on 2 years ago and I lov
how this gun shoots. I've always said you cant go wrong with a glock but
to me a the XDM is a higher class.

I wanting another XDM so I cant decide but I kinda want to build a race gun to shoot for fun and add to my cool gun collection.
I'm not planing on shooting any competition but I might for fun.
So I cant make up my mind do I want a 5.25 or a 4.5
and do I want a 9mm or .45
Things I want are
Threaded Barrel (I have Suppressors)
Trigger Job
And a red dot sight

go 5.25 in a 9mm. its alot cheaper to shoot and recoil will be alot less.

I would go this route... I'm not a big fan of the giant hole in the 5.25 slide

Canyon Creek is one of the forum sponsors here, they did the work on that XDm... I think he mentions in the thread that the slide cuts cost 75 bucks, well worth it for how BA it looks

The XD/XDm is one heck of a gun ... And I'm in the same boat, right now.

Contemplating the best bang for the buck between a XD9 Tactical, the XDm 5.25, and a Glock 34 for the same reasons you have stated ... Decisions, decisions.

yup this is about what I'm looking for


instead of spending the money on a 5.25 I could use that towards the mods and since I want a red dot like a Burris FastFire on the back I really dont need the adjustable sights the 5.25 comes with.

I don't care for the grip tape, but the red dot's do work well.
