1lowlife, thanks for the good post.
It's really upsetting nowadays how people jump straight to the web to spout out huge complaints from an uneducated perspective. They are clueless to the fact that when they complain about companies who pride themselves on their product, it can cause harm. This happens in too many sectors!
My SA product is of superior quality and when I purchased brand new was exactly as SA represented it to be.

Any N/S will help you shoot better in low light situations. Trijicon now has the HD model which uses a yellow or orange phosfloresent ring around the tritium to make them easier to see in daylight and also help you aquire them faster going from full light to low light.

Ameriglo also has what they call an I-Dot Pro.
I bought these for my G19 because I like the idea of the Heinie Straight 8 , dot over dot, but I don't like the sliver ringed tritium tubes.
I like the I-Dots.
They also run around $89, the Trijicon HDs run around $120.
I need to take some pics but haven't had time.
Check them out and all Ameriglo sights here.
AmeriGlo Weapon Sights | Pistol Sights
You can download a PDF of the entire catalog here..
http://www.ameriglo.net/sites/defaul...atalog-411.pdf
I bought them directly from Ameriglo and they are great people to deal with.
If you are buying Glock sights, they also give you the tool to remove and install the front sight screw.
I have a universal sight pusher that I used for the rear.
The G19 is also a home defense pistol, so I wanted this pistol to be easily used by my bride in case she needs it.
These sights are very easy to use, light or dark conditions.

Wish they made an I-Dot type of front sight for 1911's. Still lining up the things I plan to change on my upcoming STI Escort purchase. I think I'm going to go with a 10-8 rear. Im not a big fan of stacking dots so I plan to leave the rear black only.

Your aim sucks because you are relying on lining up the dots instead of lining up the sight posts.
Also, everyone involved,
Site = a location
Cite = referencing information
Sight = what's on the ends of your slide.

ajamesp51 - I just picked up my XD-45. My night sights look exactly like paul34's pictured in post #7 which you say are real Trijicons. So I'm happy.
I still prefer FO at least on the front, but I'll see how these work before I talk myself into spending more money.
