? about Rich CC Trigger job

Is the feel of the 4 lb trigger job a smoother pull or more like a less travel pull. I am still confused about what to expect. I live in a crappy state(CA.) so I will not be carrying the gun, but rather like the trigger to break sooner that the stock trigger. What do you guys think?

I recently had Rich do a trigger job to my XD40sc. The trigger pull is much shorter and smoother. but the real sweatness is in the short reset. It is amazing.

Where are you in the Bay Area? I live in Concord, I would be happy to meet you at United Sportsman's Club and let you shoot my gun.

For me the shortened pull is probably the most noticeable factor, followed by the reset, and last the trigger weight. From my stock XD, I always seemed to get the most unwanted trigger movement during the XD's long-ish travel before firing than I did resisting the trigger weight.

The combination of these three factors--particularly the short pull and reduced trigger weight--really improved my shooting by cutting down excess trigger movement. My XD-9 Tactical is now much easier to keep on target either for target shooting or for competition work.

It's making ME a better shooter, and that's what I like most.
