XD 9mm s.c. prospective buyer
I currently own a glock 23 and was looking to change over to an xd 9mm s.c. The glocks grip is a bit big for my hand. The XD would be a carry gun. I would appreciate an input you all may have about the pros and cons of the xd to the glock. . Thanks

Ok bro here's my take. Before I even heard of the xd sc I shot glocks (27 to be exact). I thought glock was the *hit, that's all I ever shot and that's all my dad ever talked about so you can understand why I was a bit biased toward them. That was until my friend introduced me to the XD. I was amazed how it fit into my hands, I have baby hands for Guy, the angle was just perfect. Next I just thought that the xd's were freakin beautiful. Then of course is the way the shoot, xd felt more comfortable due to the grip angle and what-not. All in all I fell in love with the xd and that is why I'm gonna finally pick up my xd. 40 tomorrow afternoon
Ill post pics so look out.

XD subcompact + Pearce grip extension = fits like a glove!
I'm wearing my XD9sc right now. In my Supertuck, of course.

Great carry guns. My best friend who introduced me to the Springfield XD carries a XD sub compact in .40 S&W.

I really like mine. Its a little brother to my .45c duty gun.
You'll notice that the short barrel really amplifies poor shooting habits. It certainly has for me! I continue to work on it, though.

I love mine (I'm wearing it right now), but I have fingers like a piano player. My wife has short stubby fingers and small palms. She could shoot it okay, but she wasn't comfortable. She wants a gun with a thinner grip so she can reach the trigger a little easier.

XD9SC, Pearce mag extension, Paccy slip-on grip. Fantastic! The trigger has Glock beat all to Hell, too. And that's BEFORE you install the PRP trigger kit. After that, it only gets better.
