I just purchased subject pistol and would like to hear from all you experts what you think of this gun. I've shot 15 rounds through it so far and was tickled to death with the way it handles. Let me know. Gonna put a lot of practice rounds through it tomorrow....

The XD 9SC is my 3rd and favorite XD. Very accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. It is my main carry piece.

I've got the 4" Service model here and after yesterday have put more than 4,000 rounds through it. It has been a champ from day one. I don't think you can go wrong with an XD. As a matter of fact besides my Saiga 12., the SC version is the next one scheduled to join the family.

Happy shooting

+1.....just picked it up last Tuesday & have put about 400 rounds through it with no issues. I tried a variety before deciding....Beretta PX4, SA-XDM, Ruger SR9, P95, Walther P99, Sig P226, & of course my brother's G17.

Honestly, it was a huge toss up between the XDM or the SW-M&P9L or even Pro. The salesman helping me pointed me towards the XD9 tactical as an option I haven't even considered mainly because everywhere I had gone didn't have this model. Once I saw it, handled it, & compared it next to the M&P9 pro it was still a tough decision. The difference between the two was about a $100 (depending on color scheme), BUT the value of the promo for the 3 mags & pouch was just too enticing to pass up.

XD 9mm tactical in dark earth.

Congratulations on the purchase, I think you'll love it from everything I hear!

Let us know what you think after a few trips to the range!
