grip thickness

This is a discussion on grip thickness within the General SA-XD/XD(M) Talk forums, part of the XD Talk category; is there a difference in grip thickness between the xd-9 and the xd-40 in either the service model or the service model?...

I believe that the XD40 & 9 Tactical, Service, and SubCompact are all based upon the same frame design - If you have an XD40, you can put an aftermarket 9mm barrel in it and swap calibers.

Yup, even the 45s are the same thickness, just very slightly longer front to back and apparently slightly squarer.
