Home defence ammo (MagSafe, Glaser or What)?

What is best for home defense that will not go through 2 layers of sheetrock (walls)?

Do they even make anything that can accomplish this in a 357 Sig?

357 sig??? No, even 9mm glasser and magsafe will go through 2 layers of dry wall. They fragement though, so chances of killing someone on the other side are slim.

There is the frangeable (sp?) stuff out there, but I have not heard any personal reviews of the stuff.

Um, a .22 long rifle round will go thru 2 layers of sheetrock like it wasnt even there.
Your FIST will go thru two layers. (OK, that hurt a bit when I did it....)

Be SURE of your target AND what's behind it.

By necessity, any kind of defense round should be able to penetrate. I keep a .40S&W with Ranger SXTs for home defense, and I feel that you simply need to know your target and what's behind it (as a previous poster mentioned).
