well i hit the range again today and put about 200 or so more down range and STILL malfunction free.
i am not a very experienced shooter and started out shootin targets (not to well) and got a little frustrated. so i threw some jugs and bottles out there and started shooting them.
after a while i could hit a bottle almost everytime (and was having more fun) then i tried to go back to the targets....... wow MUCH BETTER
i think focusing on a smaller target and havin a little more fun instead of just puting holes in paper actually improved my aim.
i guess the more you shoot the more you learn!
