yup.... it is so easy that it is rediculous... i did it the other night with my glock 23 that i have in the paper to sell.... just take a crayon of your choice (color wise) some say crayolas work best... (i wouldnt know. i used crayolas only& dont know if other crayons are inferior to the crayola)

but all ya do is run the crayon over the stamping, filling in the stampings completely.... just make sure to go in every direction to get a good even fill...

also, run the crayon against the lines siedways, if you run the crayon perpendicular to the lines in the engraving, the crayon will catch the wax you laid down before & pull it back out.... you will see what i mean when you start to do it.

i tried 4 colors the other night gold, silver, red & white... i did white last & thought it looked best so i left it white.... but the gold looked rreally nice too.

after ya get it in the crevices real good, you just wipe it down with a rag, paper, tissue or something till most of the crayon is off the surface..... then after it was pretty much all wiped off & i was happy with the filling being uniform, i took a rag with just a bit off oil & wiped it down to get the rest of the coloring off the slide....

that easy!!!!!!..... and to take it out, just scrape it out with a toothpick, or a sewing needle..... i did 4 colors in an hour just because i was bored...

the one with the knife & light, is before doing any of the inlay coloring.

here are some pics i took of the different colors..... the grey is first... it looked nice, kind of understated & didnt stand out much

then the gold... it looked kinda brown, but when the light hit it right, it glimmered making it look pretty cool

then the red. i didnt much care for the red, it was too dark a color i think... not enough contrast from the black

then white... i liked the white best & left it on...

side note: someone on here said not to use the metallic colors ( i cant remember why, but better safe than sorry)
