Finally shot my new XD40 Subcompact today

Wow!!!!!

This is one amazing pistol. The accuracy that this little 3 inch brings is just jaw dropping. I am by no means a great shot with any pistol but to consistently pop shots on a 2 liter soda bottle at 20-25 yards with a 3" barrel like this pistol does is just unreal. This is my first XD and I foresee at least one more being added to the stable in the future.

I drank the Kool-Aid and it is good

I agree, think I want a .40 sc next, as I have the 9mm now.

Glad you like it. I shoot mine at 15 yards atm and can keep it in the 8 ring. It just keeps getting better and better every week.

Hey Rey..how do you conceal yours? I'm the same size guy you are and am thinking of getting the XD40sc. I have the service XD9 at the moment and really love it.

I really, really love my XD40SC. It is amazing how good this thing shoots. My Glock 26 which used to be my primary carry auto is doing safe duty now. I found a simple IWB holster for MY xd40SC at a local gun shop and I have been carrying it every day. The holster is a Galco Stow -n- Go which cost about $27.00. I also like the looks of another IWB holster that I saw by Don Hume which I may be ordering soon.

Here is a pic of the Galco

I use a Kholster for mine at about 4 o'clock. At that position I can also conceal my xd .45 tactical no problems at all. As far as draw, I am slightly faster with the 40sc (maybe a tenth of a second) than the tactical but it probably makes little difference. I kinda want a service model now and see how that works.

BTW, if you decide to get a Kholster, just PM me and I'll send you a discount code. Another good holster would be the Supertuck from Crossbreed.

Impressive! I am still a newb to shooting but I do agree, accuracy improves with every trip to the range.

I've enjoyed mine for about a year. The most accurate handgun I own and I have quite a few.
