XD Trigger Problem

I can't put more than 200 rounds through my XD without burning my finger on the trigger. I shoot at a steady pace but i have 5 mags making the overall shooting time pretty short. When the gun starts to heat up it also causes the trigger to soak up a lot of that heat since it is a metal trigger. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are polymer trigger replacements on the market anywhere?

I know that the newer XDm's come with a polymer trigger now so they are in production but I don't know if you can buy them anywhere. Perhaps a call to SA would lead you in the right direction.

hmmm i know that the new xdm's have a plastic trigger, you can check with xdguys.com or pistol gear.com

Can the XDM trigger work on an XD i wouldnt see why not right?

Most aftermarket mods are to convert the plastic trigger back to some metallic version. Might try direct to SA for current plastic stock trigger.

Wear a baseball glove or a golf glove cut all fingers out except trigger finger.
