Polishing the feed ramp

So I've read several threads where polishing the feed ramp is mentioned. How is this done? Are we talking taking a dremel with a soft attachment or using some type of compound applied to the feed ramp?

I used Heavy Metal Polish Green (med) then Blue (ultra fine) with a Dremel and a polishing pad

I used my Dremel with the 422 Felt Cone and some compound which I believe was Dremel 421.

Dremel with the red polish that came with the set.. Then Chrome / Mag polish. I finish with Mothers Chrome polish with a lint free rag while watching TV. Come out like Mirrors.

I prefer to hand sand mine with 1000 - 2500 grit silicon paper sand until smooth then wet sand until the metal turns black, and then polish.
depending on the cal. you can also use the end of a sharpy or the end of a round pen etc. I polish the throat to the mag well.
