Thanks! CCR-Refinishing did the finish ( www.ccr-refinishing.com) It's their "Select Series" satin black.

So I got carried away with my new crayons. My AK would only had deep enough engravings on the "S F" letters. In advance, I'm apologizing for how bad my camera is at taking close-up pictures.
My USPc mags got the crayons to make the numbers a little easier to see.

Is the white easier than black to use for the crayola crayon? I'm using the black on my stainless 40 and can't seem to quite get every little crevice.

Try to use the crayon perpendicular to the line you are trying to fill. Otherwise the wax will catch wax and pull it off. Also, it only works if the engraved areas are cut deep into the metal.
I experimented using a hair dryer to melt the crayon onto some spots I was having some trouble on, and it worked when I didn't just try to dab it on. I held it like a sodering iron and rubbed it on like I normally would and it helped get to places I couldn't get to before.

The crayolas don't work if you had NP3 put on it... I'm going the laquer stick route when I get it back from SA. Hopefully the teflon won't prevent that from sticking.
