help, trigger safety sticking

I just got my new xd 45 tactical and i love it.....but..... the trigger safety is sticking and even after a good cleaning i can't resolve it. should i take it apart and file the plastic safety thinner? if so, how do i get the pins out that holds the trigger and block in?

any help please would be appreciated.
