Beltman 1.25 Question

I have a couple of gun belts, a 1.75, and 2 1.5 inch belts that work great with jeans. They are a little to wide for slacks and dress pants and have actually ripped a belt loop on one occasion.

I was looking at the 1.25 inch belts from beltman. They get good reviews here. Should I go with Bullhide or Horsehide? Should I get stiffener added?

I will be carrying a XD9SC mostly IWB but possibly OWB as well.

It depends on the holster your wearing. What holster do you have? Like the supertuck is 1.75 if you go less it can cause it to slide around. It all depends on what the holster is.

I am definately getting a 1.25, I have to have one for my slacks. I am more wondering if I should go horse or bullhide, and whether or not to get the stiffener.

I carry my XD-40 Service on a Beltman 1.25" Cordovan horsehide belt, no stiffener required. I opted for the closer hole spacing (3/4"?) and have been delighted with the product.

Would the belt fit in khakis and slacks?

I have the beltman 1.25, no extra stiff, carry 9sc OWB with no issues at all. Very comfortable. Can't even tell I have a gun on. Great.

I have the standard bull hide and the stiffener is really not necessary, the belt is very stiff and good quality. Honestly too stiff for my liking. I found out IWB good belt is not that necessary OWB is very necessary

If you needed to wear it with dress slacks or Khakis could you? Or is it too thick?
