XD "Tactical Package" ???

Is anyone aware of an XD "tactical package"? I was at a local Cabelas today, and they had an XD .40 5 inch tactical with a paddle style holster and XML tactical flashlight attached. The salesman said it is a "tactical package" offered by Springfield. This package is offered with 3 magazines, a larger paddle holster, magazine pouch, magazine loader, and XML tactical flashlight. But, he said this package is offered with the 5 inch, as well as the 4 inch models of XD's. Is this correct? If so, where are they available?

I havent heard of this, but whats the big draw? with the package you get the holster and light they want to provide, not nec the ones that fill your needs the most.......ala carte for me, get exactly what I want, not some package deal. plus does the holster allow you to carry with the light attached? if not, you'll need another one anyway.......

I dont know about the flashlight but I know you can get them with different sights.

Damnit, I should have waited a little longer to get my XD then. All I got was two mags.

you know thats funny laz cause in florida they start at 550 sometimes and the cheapest i can find them is through a friend for like 490

I believe it. I started a post here when I first joined asking what members had paid for a XD9 service and the prices were generally $399-$425, some were a little higher but now I cant come anywhere near that. I asked one guy I called if there was any room in the price and he told me no. I dont care much because he said maybe $459 which I would snag in a hearbeat... of course they are out of stock.

Gazpacho- I believe the standard XD package comes with a smaller belt holster, mag pouch, loader, and two mags. So this package has some extras.

The salesman over at that Cabelas told me they had 5 of the .45 ACP's, and were selling them for $529 each. They all sold the same day they came in.

I saw and picked mine up at my local gun shop by accident. Although I couldn't afford it I got it anyway cuz these pistols are rare in my area (tactical). I mean you may see one about twice every year and that's it! I didn't know SA had these complet packages so I think they're worth while to have. The 4" versions I thought were only for the "tactical" only. Obviously SA is doing it as a standard throughout the entire XD line.
