Which Cleaner & Oil?

I've been reading through a lot of posts and have seen a lot of different opinions. I thought it'd be a nice idea to get all of your opinions right here in one spot.

So... short simple answers please... no discussion or explanations.

Which brand & type of cleaner AND oil do you use on your XD gun?

Seems like a lot less work on everybody's part if you just read the other posts and draw your own conclusions.

Almost all the commercially available cleaners and oils are fine. More a matter of knowing how than what you use. One caveat, make sure any solvents or cleaners you use are safe for the polymer frame. This can be a problem when using solvents NOT intended for firearms like brake cleaning fluids, etc.

Some people swear by hoppes, others brake free, etc. They all work pretty well IMHO. LOL, got my opinion, so there!

As said earlier, pretty much any cleaner and lubricant will work.

Personally, I like Breakfree CLP as a cleaner/protectant and TW25B as a lubricant. But Hoppes, Gunzilla, etc, etc, etc will all work.

There really isn't a proven "best". It just comes down to what you like.
