My setup is real similar to ArmyGuy45 except I'm a lefty, so I can use a right handed holster, mounted to a pocket on my driver's door...and I can draw fast from that position and it's blocked from view while I'm driving.

There's a show on the Outdoor Channel called "The Best Defense". Season 1 dealt with home defense. On one of the episodes, they dealt with drawing from a car, shooting through the drivers side window, and shooting through the front wind shield.

I can't find any Season 1 videos, but that episode would definitely answer the question.

Basically, its unbuckle, draw, rotate and angle barrel parallel with the floor (basically to avoid shooting your knees off) then orient for the type of shot.
