magazine help!!

I took apart my mags to clean them, however I didnt think to look at them to see how the springs go, after cleaning them they seem much more tighter the springs and seem I put them in wrong and on the last round in the 16rd clip it doesnt show a round on the 16th hole, and when i try to put the mag into the gun it takes all I can to make it work.

If you can post a pic of how the spring which end and which way is it supposed to be.

nope, the 10rd i believe I have but the 16rd still cant get.

Lay the spring and the mag body on the table, put them against each other, and notice the angle of the spring on the top, it should go in to match the angle of the feed lips...

My XD9SC 16 rnd. mag spring has one end smaller to fit up into the hollow follower. Make sure it's not backwards. As others have mentioned, the angle of the last coil matches the angle of the top of the mag.

I had the 16 and 10rd mag springs reversed tried to put the 10rd spring in the 16rd mag and vice versa, sloop70 helped me out
