I was at the local gun shop/range near the house and was looking at all the pistols when a shopper came up and was asking the clerk about all the 9mm's.
He showed him the Glock and the Smith N's but was glossing right over the XDs. After the clerk showed and told for a bit. I nudged the guy and told him to hold the XD before he made his choice. The dude had been handling the other pieces but as soon as he picked up the Springfield he said "Ill take this one!" I picked up some supplies and on the way out the door I told him to have fun with his new baby. He emphatically thanked me for my 2 cents and went back to his paperwork.
It seemed to me the dude was purchasing his 1st gun and had nothing to base an opinion on but sheer feel alone of the handful he was gripping. With as fast as he snatched up that XD9 you cant argue that these baby's just feel so much better than the competition.
Just thought i'd share..
