FINALLY !!!
Well, I just checked the Tx DPS Online tracking for my license application and expected the usual "Processing Application". Much to my surprise and excitement, it said "license issued/license activated"! My paperwork was received by the DPS on Oct 23rd, so looks like they are processing pretty fast now. Well, should have the license by next week and then I can make my maiden voyage to the local Wal-Mart!

Nice to see they aren't taking much time, I just sent my paperwork in this week, so if your timeline if a good gauge, I may have it before Christmas
One question, how long did your PIN generation take when you sent them the request?? |

Seen today: Application Completed - license issued or certificate active
Total time was 74 days, of which about 23 days or so were weekend/holiday, so almost to the 60 day limit by law. Must not have had any problems/issues. Will be nice to finally get the license... |
