15 round mags and 16 round mags. Wassup with that?

That's interesting. I never called up Springfield about the issue. I would have figured if 15 rounders were readily available, that the gun stores around here would have em.

I was going to do it today at lunch.. but I got busy.. rush before the holidays

Tommorow is the meeting about us "Not working hard enough" Looks like upper management might be doing some Pre-2009 disaster planning alrealdy.

I've learned from a few years in the (semi)corporate world, and a few in the military, that there are pretty much two kinds of meetings; "Good Monkey" and "Bad Monkey". Your performance rarely has any effect on which meeting you get. It can be "Good Monkey" for a long while and without anything changing, BAM, "Bad Monkey".
I guess with better pay and benefits comes more odd BS.

I have 5 mags that are 15 rds and my hubby has the 16 rounders. Mine are older. I am actually going to replace the 15 rounders with 16 rounders just so we have the same capacity and I like the indexing on the side. Wierd, I know but it bugs me, lol!

I called Springfield CS today. I spoke to a very nice lady named Patty at Ext 8924. And she confirmed that Springfield does sell 15 round magazines for the XD9. Part Number: XD5010. Price $24.99.

My XD9 just got a lot better . I don't need to baby the "Precious" mags anymore!

and.. the meeting today was with a boss "One level up" and basically was "pre-disaster" preparation... Noting Conclusive yet.

I guess I never thought of selling my 15 rounders but I suppose I will be getting 16 rounders so I wouldn't need them. I especially want the 16 rounders because of the indexing on the side. I want to have the new ones before Spring so if anyone wants to speak for the 15s, let me know!
