Another lurker signs up

I also have been reading since before I got my XD this past spring. Here is a pic of my Service .40 Bi-tone. Lighting and layout not so great, but had to post a pic. I've got just under 2000 rounds through it now, still happy with my purchase. This forum greatly assisted my decision. Thanks.

Nice image and background.

What is the grip you are using?
Is that rubber/tape and where did you get it?

Edit* Forgive me if that is a stock grip. It looks like a good grip tape job.

Just the stock grip, but after you mentioned it, it does look different in the pic. Just the lighting I guess.

Welcome to the forum! Can you share your thoughts on the Serpa Holster? I think they are great, perhaps others would like to hear your thoughts.

Corey, I am near Frederick. I shoot at Cresap Rifle Club. They are the only public range in Frederick County. Very reasonable $2/shooter, $1/target, $5/trip for me.

Old School, as far as I have been able to use it (dry fire draws), it is very nice, easy to draw when you want to; impossible for it to come loose by accident. Not too great for concealment, but would be good for open carry.
