Special Cleaning Methods For Stainless Slide?

I need to do a full cleaning of my carry gun- an XD9SC, stainless slide. I have never owned a stainless slide gun before, so I am wondering if I need any special items to clean it.

I find that the silicone cloths work great for cleaning up stainless and keeping them looking good. Wipe it down and you are good to go.

Should I wipe it down with an oil or just the cloth?

I agree ... Just enough oil to make it look good.

I have a spray can of Remington Gun Oil. It's green with a yellow top. Is that OK to use on the stainless slide?

You don't need much oil on the exterior. I agree that the silicone cloth is the way to go.
