$518 for XD 40sc Good Price?

If you call Bachman pawn, (214) 351-3628, they will sell you one for 399 and 25 shipping. Thats 424 shipped. A local tranfer around my area is 35. So that puts you in the 450 range total. Plus many times you don't have to pay tax this way. Bachman uses 2 day shipping for guns, so you will get it quick. I bought a xd9 service from them and everything went smooth with the transaction.

I guess everyone is assuming it's a black one...............my wife just picked up a bi tone at the gun show for 533 tax included. It came with 3 mags, two were extended mags. I think she did pretty good.

I bought from supohunter on Gunbroker. Good to deal with and it was shipped immediately upon payment. Same deal as shown in this post. 399 plus shipping. CHeck with pawn shops for the transfer. They are cheaper here. The two I called wanted only $10 for the transfer when gun shops wanted 25-35.
It came down to 435 all said and done.

Thanks again everybody. She called me back and said $484 so I'm going to go with it since they did order it for me. I know it's not a whole lot lower, but I do feel better about that amount compared to $518. In retrospect, I should have gone with sopohunter on gunbroker because that would have saved me tax but cost me transfer. I would have been ahead about $35... oh well her husband has cancer, I guess I'll help them out on this one.

+1 .....got my XD9sc bitone for $428+15 ship+20 FFL= $463
ive seen the all black models on there for $399.

local price was $518 for the bitone + tax (8-10% depending on which dealer) so it was worth the savings for me to order one.

I just picked one up for that exact price ($479) before tax a week back. $500+ tax is rough but worth it, .40XDsc shoots as well as any full size .40 i own (several).

By the look of things, now is the time to buy, I'm sure they will just keep getting more expensive. And definitly buy new or at least with 'Gear', well worth it.

Hmm... If they made the quote, hold them to it. I doubt it was a slip-up. I bought the exact same gun for $499 out the door, including tax. The Springfields are popular guns, there are plenty out there so do some shopping. Unless your lazy and impatient like me, and its worth the $25ish dollars to get it now .
