TLR-2 vs MX6

I've got some spare money burning a hole in my pocket and want to get a light/laser combo. Which one would you buy and why? TLR-2 vs MX6. Also if you own it, please post a picture of it because I haven't been able to find very many photos and post where you bought it. Thanks in advanced guys. I want to order it today so it's up to you guys.

I have owned both. The only thing I like about TLR-2 better than the M6X is the fact that it is LED. That being said I have never had a bulb go out on the M6X. I like the latching system better on the M6X. I also like the output better on it. It has much more throw than the TLR series.
The TLR's are a good light for the money, but given the choice I would choose the M6X.

Well good for me. I bought the M6X today from CheaperThanDirt.com. I can't wait to get it. Another thing someone told me is that it matches the polymer much better than the TLRs. I can't say because I haven't seen them both up close next to an XD so we'll see.

I don't have a picture, but I like my MX6 just fine.

Oops. It looks like I'm getting the M6 instead of the M6X. I'm going to see if they will cancel the order, I doubt it but we'll see, if not oh well it'll be good enough.

I beleive the M6X is designed to absorb shock better than the M6. Other than that I do not know the difference. I have only had the M6X version. It should still be a decent light. Cheaper than dirt will let you cancel the order or return it. I have dealt with them before.
Here's what you want. This is a good company. I have bought a lot from them.

My favorite light by far is the Surefire X300 tactical light. They also have a laser version, the X400. They are a tad spendy though.

I also have the M6X. I believe the only difference is the M6 puts out 90 lumens of light and the M6X puts out 120 or 125 lumens.

You may also find that there is an insert for the 1913 picatinny rail. I have the 45ACP Tactical and I had to use the "glock" insert. It seems to give me a better fit and I don't think the insert marked 1913 worked if I remember correctly. I think the 1913 insert was too large to fit the slot.

Oh well..............good luck with the light and you made a good choice.
