I'm in!

Picked up my XD9SC at the Orlando gun show. I gave her a good cleaning. Not that she needed it I'm just anal like that. She looks good next to my SA1911 Parkerized Loaded 45. Can't wait to go to the range. I think I want the Pearce grip extension. I kinda like the look of the lettering inlays. How do you do that?

Deffinately get the pierce extension grips for the subc mag.

All that lettering stuff is just stupid in my opinion. But...If you must, there are a few good post on how to do it with wax pencils. Try a search

and Congrats on your new Xd

Always clean an new one and after shooting. Gives you the opportunity to find any obvious problems, broken ejector, cracked frame, barrel, etc. Just a good idea to clean new ones...
Congrats!

Update

Just got back from Gander Mountain. Got the Pearce grip extensions. Perfect call. Thanks for that tip. Picked up a 16 round mag and another 10 rounder. Next weekend I plan to send some rounds down range. i thnk I'll skip the inlay color. Used a spend 100 get 20 off coupon. SA is proud of those mags!

You might also want to check out the barrel polishing. It looks cool as well.
