Traded in my Beretta M9 for it. At first I was apprehensive about trading in because I knew I wouldn't get near what I paid for it and thought that I might want to keep it, but the more I thought about the less I wanted to keep it. If I decide to get another pistol chambered in 9mm it'll probably just be to keep range/ammo costs down and I'll go for a tactical XD... who knows....
It'll be a while before I get a chance to go to the range with it, but oh well, it's still great nonetheless and at least I have it now. |

You'll like the XD40SC. I had the bi-tone model and it was great, very accurate and easy to control. The muzzle flip was bit sharp, compared to the 9mm, but you get used to that pretty quick. I changed all my carry guns to .45 now, so I no longer have the XD40SC, but I had zero complaints with it!
All in all, great purchase

Congratulations on a great deal the XD40SC is an excellent firearm. I love mine. I'll bet your going to like it much more than your Beretta. I have been thinking about a XD9MM Tact. myself but I just keep buying ammo for my XD40Sc and my XD45C, they just never get enough to eat.

Curtis,
You'll absolutely love it. The XD40SC was my first XD. It is sooooo accurate, even out to 25 yards. As with all XD's, after around 300 rounds through the pipe, the trigger will be awesome!
