I was paging down the models on the XD page and saw two pics with the ejection port to the left side. But I can't find any info on lefty models. Just goto the XD page, then enter the compact page, now as you pan over the models on the right a pic pops up. There small but they show two different color guns available. Od bitone and dark earth bitone. Maybe this is old news and I just never caught it being right handed but my buddy would be sold.

Welcome to XDTalk, I must be missing something, I did what your post stated, I am thinking that the negative is reversed in the small picture, i have never seen an XD in another configuration with the ejection port being on the left side. I am a lefty also so I think I would have noticed. If I completely missed what you are talking about, ignore everything after Welcome to XDTalk.

Ok go to the xd page on the left it will show the different lengths, Click on compact, then on the right there is a menu in red . Hover over that and it will drop down then move down to the fourth or fifth model, don't click it just hover over it and a pic will pop up.

yep did that, thats why I think the negative is backwards or reversed.

It's just odd that those two are different from the other pics that pop up. I was hoping to be on to something.

maybe you are, like I said I'm a lefty. Maybe one of the more experienced XD guys can tell us.

I did see the 2 models that are shown as a lefty in the thumbnail popup pics. The full size pics are in the correct orientation. I'm sure the images (negatives) were reversed when the page was created. The images are way to small to see any details but if you could I'm sure the text on the gun would be mirror imaged. The model numbers refer to the standard gun SA has always imported.

I just did a cruel joke to my dad. He's a lefty and got all excited when I showed him the hovering pic LOL Poor lefty.

I was pissed about one thing though. The XDm SHOULD have a slide lockback lever on both sides of the frame (like the M&P). That'd make the XDm TRULY AMBIDEXIOUS.
