I bought mine from that gun place that had the offer "guns at cost" will never buy from them again, though it was 436 for the XD, but took forever to come in. My buddy got his from CDNN and it was only about 12 bucks more than mine...

I Agree buying online stores is not always cheap..consider, Shipping, FFL transfer fee..I used Gallery of guns twice..depending the local dealer price..and Gallery of guns gave me lifetime warranty....

Just got my first XD yesterday off of Gunbroker. 5" Tactical OD green 40 S&W. $404.00 new....$25.00 shipping to my FFL.

Seller is Woodbury Outfitters out of Ohio.

I can post a link if that is allowed. Got the gun 2 days after I paid for it!!!

Unless you have to have a new gun, keep checking your local for sale ads online and in the newspaper. Gunbroker and Buds are the best if you want to get one transferred to your dealer.

I went to my local gun shop, for firearms I like to deal directly with people, and you don't have the question of possibly crappy customer service, especially with a small joint. Cabela's wanted to charge me 580+- I paid about 550 for my xd9 Tactical at my local shop. Ordered the gun Monday, and it was in Tuesday.
