New XD40 sub-compact
I brought home a new XD40 sub compact today, I can't wait to shoot it. It is a great companion to my XD40 service. I bought it to have a lighter gun to carry for CCW. I will put it on tonight to see how she fits and feels.

Love mine...
I have tortured it, trying to make it malfunction...with no success. I have fired every type of ammo I can find and burned the rounds through her...not a burp! The size is great, weight is OK, and the reliability has made it my daily carry piece. Enjoy

It's very well balanced...
for a sub. It seems like every time I'm on here I'm ranting about this gun, but dammit, I lost count of all of the on and off duty weaponry I've carried over the years and this is a sweet piece. I might get a longer barrel for some serious sillhouette work, but for CC I'm gonna have to find something really spectacular to send this one to the safe.
