Sell XD40/357?

I'm still wanting a custom 1911, and don't want to get into my "stash" to fund the whole thing. I'm seriously considering selling my custom XD40 Tactical that has a BarSto .357 Sig barrel, Tripp hardchrome, MMC adjustable rear night sight, Trijicon front night sight, BarSto stainless guide rod, Tom Novak 4 lb trigger job with adjustable overtravel stop, and reliabilty package. It's sitting in my safe, lonely. It has about 300 rounds through the .40 barrel, and about 200 rounds through the .357 Sig BarSto barrel. This thing is accurate. Anybody looking for this kind of rig? I'd put it on the Trading Post, but thought I'd see if anyone was even interested first.

It sounds like a nice package. It would depend on the price you were trying to get for it. Is the gun a Service Model or Tactical?

Thanks - it's a Tactical. I have some pictures I'll post if I for sure sell it. I do this alot. Buy or build a gun - keep it a while - want something new.

I have about $1,100 in what I listed. I'd be looking at about $800.00. This thing is like new - it's beautiful. It's way more accurate than I am. I posted a target I shot offhand on the Range Report section a while back. It was about a 3 1/4" group with the stock .40 barrel (at 25 yards). You can check out the Range Report by clicking the link at the end of this post.
A buddy of mine put 3 out of 5 offhand shots inside the 10 ring of an 8" Shoot N See target at 25 yards using the Bar-Sto .357 Sig barrel. I don't have a Ransom Rest, but I think this is a 1" to 1 1/2" gun at 25 yards using the Bar-Sto barrel.

R/T Performance,

If you can load .40 S&W on your press, you can also load 357 Sig on it by simply buying the proper dies, brass and bullets. It's no harder to load than any other round, once you learn it's quirks. It's also an exceedingly accurate round.

Hope this helps.

I have a dillon square deal b and it won't load anything with a stepped case.
But it is as fast or faster than a 550 and a 150 bucks less with dies.I love it

Having carried a 1911 in Germany as a Combat MP, I don't understand why people like them that much. I much prefer my Rugers ( P90,P95 and P345)and my XD40,and even my Glock 22. Each to their own, I guess.
