Hypothetical on a home invasion....
Lets say you have the misfortune of someone breaking in while you are home sleeping. You hear the intruder and grab your firearm and make your way down the hallway. It's dark, but not too dark as you can plainly see the person in front of you. Not knowing if this person is armed what do you do? Do you just fire away or tell the guy to hit the floor or you'll blow is head off or what?
Personally, I think I would have told my wife to call the police, grabbed the 12 guage and once I encountered the intruder I think I would just shoot to kill. But then again who knows exactly how one would react if placed in this circumstance.

In that situation, I wouldn't leave the bedroom.
The 590 would be trained on the door...all bets are off once you come through the door...

Depends... If there is a chance that it could be someone you know than no... I would make sure they heard the racking of the gun, but its a tough call...

Tough call, but, "Stop, get down on the floor, NOW!" Then, at that moment, THEY would be making the decision. *sigh, I suppose it would be a tough call. There was a story about a grand father shooting (not fataly) his 17 grandaughter sneaking into their house.... scary stuff. My close friends and family, know NOT to sneak into my house!!!!

that`s what you would hear if it was me finding an intruder at home... I`m dying to find one SOB who`s stealing my clothes from backyard when we do the laundry...if they get into my property...they tasting my lead... and if they make it inside the house...that`s one for the newspaper... shoot him a couple of times...then call the neighbords..they`ll gladly shoot him a couple of more times just to check he`s well dead....after all that...someone could call the cops. And this is my 1k post.
