Doctor Optics on XD....
Finally got my XD Tactical after 10 days of wait...man that's a long wait.
I might be able to buy a used Dr. optics but with a Glock adaptor. The Glock back sight dove looks very similar to the XD's (this is where the adaptor attaches). Will the adaptor for the Glock fit on the XD? Thanks. |

Nope on the Glock mount. However, Docter makes a Sig mount that should work:

I mounted a Doctor Optics sight on my wifes XD and have since removed it. The Sig mount WILL NOT fit the dovetail on the XD and has to be stoned down approx. .010 in order to fit. I still have the dovetail mount but do not plan on remounting it. (wife likes open sights better) I would be willing to sell the mount if you are seriously interested, just let me know.
Heres a pic of her XD with it instaled.  PS. I also have an EFK PORTED 9mm barrel if you are interested in it too.
