Why I hate my XD40 Service

It cost half of what my SIG's do. A great trigger is a drop in. The grips are slick but TruGrip fixed that bummer. I only have one and now I know I have to have more. I have many SIG's and the XD is mad and going to try to catch up. Boy am I in trouble,

Thanks,Keith

Just sell those Sigs ...

Seriously though, I know how you feel. I bought my first XD, my XD9 Service. Now I want a XD9SC, XDm, and a XD45 Tactical.

The only thing reason I could think to hate my XD-9 Service is that it is so accurate and reliable it can be boring.

Such a bummer to have an affordable gun that works so stinkin well.... I wanted the 5" .45, but ended up getting the 4" instead. See, my wife and I are 3 months apart in age, and a group of ex-marines and other guys get together in the fall to go out to the desert to go shooting. She turned 21 3 months before me so went out and bought it, boy was I surprised. But unfortunately she missed the part where I wanted the 5"... oh well, love the 4", it just means I'll have to buy another 5" right after I buy her 9mm 4"

I hate mine for not getting a damn job and buying us a house in the woods where I could shoot more! Every morning I say "Lazy gun, get to work!!" so it hops on my hip and follows me to work, where it sleeps in my truck all day until I get off. Stupid, lazy gun.

Yeah, that would piss me off, too!

I feel for the OP when it comes to SIGs and XDs. Really hard to stop at just one.

I want a 9mm now.
