I hate mine for making me feed it so much ammo. That kind of food gets expensive.

Yeah, mine's grounded. It has to stay with me at all times, only comes out when given permission, and I make it sleep in a drawer. Now that I'm laid off from work though I don't think it's taking me seriously and I'm ready to cave and take it to the range!

See ... I still make it go to the range, this way it keeps it in shape. I don't want it getting fat ...

My XD lives in the woods
I shoot in my back yard or front yard any time I have ammo and it's not to cold. I forgot about my HK USPC I like my XD better than it to. I'm thinking about a 5 inch 40 myself.
Maybe this is a dumb question but here goes any way. To me on a carry gun that is thin and not to long in the grip is easy to conceal. So why chop the grip and then add a mag with an extension because the slide is easy to hide ? I would think a 5 inch XD would be as good as a 4 inch for carry because the slide and barrel are easy to hide. I can see using the regular mag for the gun and then the back up mag in case you need more ammo and more accuracy, Thanks,Keith

Thanks,Keith
