.500 S&W. I can see the marketing now: "It has never been easy to hold 14 rounds of .500 S&W in one hand....until now. Introducing the new XDm500."

I actually have a friends whose exgirlfriend's Mom is from Croatia. She used to date a guy that works at the HS2000 plant. He said that the new XDs will hold 248 .177 caliber pellets in one magazine. The recoil will be next to nothhing! WOOT!

Anyone else notice that Springfield misspelled "masterpiece" in the ad? "I" before "E", except after "C" friends.....I'm a nitpicker, I know, but I figure that if they're going to spend several thousand dollars or more on an advertisement, they could at least bother to run a spell-check first.

well you got it right in theory there guy, but since in this case the "ie" doesnt come AFTER the "c" you still spell it "masterpiece".

Uh, right. Evidently you didn't look at the ad. Springfield clearly describes the newest version of the XD(M) as "the next ergonomic masterpeice (sic) in handgun design."
