I'd lose the eurohook and make the rear slide rails out of steel.

I think the most import modification they could make would be to make them less expensive!!!

Aside from the finish thing, I agree with perhaps moving the slide step lever a bit more forward. I'd also like to see the grip (checkering and molded-in "stippling") be more aggressive. I'd also like to see the rear slide serrations come a little more forward as well (lengthening the number of serrations for more to grab on to).
I like it as-is, though. The things I mentioned are just, "That would be interesting to see" things for me. I think the XD's a lot of bang for the buck. Andy |

I wish the XD would come in a DAO version.
I wish the XD would come in a de-cocker version. I wonder how and XD would feel if it were all metal?

I love my traditional double action pistols, but turning the XD into one I think takes something away from the design, don't you?
The trigger itself "feels" like a DAO, even though it isn't. Just thoughts... -stunks |

1. Make the trigger reset shorter.
2. Get rid of that stoopid Glock-like trigger paddle thing that puts blisters on everyone's finger. 3. Get rid of the slide lock / grip safety link. 4. Put uncaptive recoil assembly in the 4" guns. 5. Change the extractor to an external spring actuated design. |

I like the width of the grip but I would like more distance between the front and back straps.
