HS2000 warranty covered by Sprinfield?

I read somewhere that Springfield Armory will now honor the HS 2000 under their Lifetime warranty. Is this true? I am looking to pick up a very good condition HS2000, but I want to know if there will still be a lifetime warranty attached to it.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

24 views in the "General HS2K SA-XD Talk" section and nobody knows? Please... I need to know soon. I will be calling SA tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone has had any HS2K warranty experience with SA.

Thanks guys!

Years ago, SA announced when it picked
up the HS2K/XD line, that they would
honor the warranty for the HS2K.

However, you will pay the shipping
charges both ways when it goes to
SA for repair under warranty.

By the way, give SA a phone call
to confirm.

Confirmed with SA. $25 return shipping is all it will cost to have an HS2K warrantied by SA. Works for me.
