I really need to start carrying a spare mag.
Last night we had five shootings, three killed, two injured all in separate locations but all within blocks of each other... it's bad everywhere around here... and this seems to happen almost every night in Chicago lately.

I read that article this morning. It was at a Marathon station, right?

Nikon, have you been reading some of the Akron news. The newspaper has it made out like we are on the verge of race riots down here, over the shooting of Stevens. Protests, counter protests, etc. They wrote an editorial today on trying to cool out the racial tensions. I am going to stick to the burbs and mind my business. I had to drive through AK-rowdy last night, to go over to the guns store, and I strapped on the G26 with a spare mag and the J-Frame for a pocket gun.

I have been in the Akron area most of my life, and have NEVER seen it this bad.

Chicago ... didn't I read that the Governor was going to send in the National Guard and State Police to stop all these shootings...

Wait, how can there be shooting in Chicago when Daley has outlawed guns

I'm glad I'm out of Cleveland now, too. In the seven years I was there, my side of town got pretty bad. I'm glad your buddy got out alive, that's enough to be thankful for right there.

Yeah more to follow on that, I was curious as well.

We took our CCW class together and I remember him with an HK USP .40. I was shocked when he told me he shot the guy with a P22. He's lucky to be alive. The other guy may or not make it. Ill get more info tmrw.

The cops said he was lucky he was packin'. Of course they took his gun though. Cleveland is a b!tch about giving guns back, but our new revisions to the ccw law will change that soon.

The good guy gets to go home to his wife and kids, bad guy may or may not make it.
I hope for the best for your friend.

Three cheers for the Walther P22
