Question Problems with mag release extension?

At first the thought of a mag release extension appealed to me; easier access for my not so large thumbs? sounds good. but after talking with some gun nut buddies they unanimously frowned upon it and discouraged putting them on any gun, mostly because those who have installed them usually have the problem of 'accidentally' taking the gun out of battery/inadvertently having part of their hand push or lean on the mag release.

Anyone with the extended mag release have this problem? Any comments?

I had SA Custom put one on the XD 357 Sig and never had a problem with it.

Barstow, when I put it down on a table or something ONCE IN A WHILE it will pop the mag out. I use my trigger finger now anyway so I don't need them anymore.
