Slightly off topic but I am thinking about getting either the XD tactical, or the XD M.
I already have the XD 9 service. The new gun will be for competition, but I have a question. Seems like I read somewhere that the barrel length of the M is 4.50 which would put it between the 4 inch service and the 5 inch tactical. Is that correct? I use the service for IWB concealed carry. If I get the tactical is would be primarily for competition. I wonder if the M would be a good choice for both, only 1/2 shorter barrel than the tach, but with a better barrel and adjustable sights. Any thoughts would be much appreciated as I am going to the gun store this week. Thanks in advance. |

same thing
I had the same exact jam. Last round in the mag. I have shot 200 rounds WWB and it has only happened one time. I think it's the mag.

Hello,
Yes this happened with an xdm. It was the second time to the range and the 1st time I had used that specific magazine. I only used one magazine the first time to the range. It only happened one time and I ran two more full mags through the gun with no problems. I am also new to handguns and I am learning the proper grip so it definitely could have been something I did. It was the last round in the mag. hope this helps. I'm going to the range again next week, I'll post if I have any more problems. doo |

Where the magazines spring hooks into the follower... Bend it up so that it forces the follower up at the front of the magazine. Not too much but just a little.
