Which model Desantis is that? Do you remember? Thanks.

I'm wierd i guess. Unless I'm going to be getting in and out frequently- i just tuck gun and holster between my front seats- works great in a truck, enter console hides it as does my leg- and its right where my hand rests- The Shirt-Tucker fits great- thing too, just hop out of truck and tuck back in

and then you buy the correct holster that fits in it. I have one under my desk and one in my truck. I love it.

State Laws

Not to be the "buzz kill" here, but make sure that you are clear about your state laws with regard to the location of a weapon in a vehicle. What may be permitted in one state may be illegal in another. CCW or not in SC this type of open display of a fire arm is not permissible.

I just picked up a nice and cheap holster from these guys, Holsters, gun holsters, shoulder holsters, concealed carry holsters, handgun shoulder holsters

It's a soft side nylon holster that's wrapped with Velcro(soft side) and comes with 3 large stick-on Velcro(hard side) patches. Here in Texas the pistol has to be concealled so I have mine stuck on the inside wall of my center console. The Velcro is plenty strong to hold my XD9SC no problem. And was only $20 bucks.

Check it out! Velcro Stick-On Holsters

My neighbor took the XD holster that come with the guns and mounted it under the dash of his P/U. Works really well. I thinking of doing something similar.

Of course this is a permanent situation and the OP is looking for something that won't mare the company car.

KY= Glove box--anywhere else you to have a CCW.
