Which is more reliable?
Opinions wanted! Just looking for honest feedback on what you would consider a more reliable pistol and why? Specifically when used in "extreme" conditions (water, dust, dirt, etc.) over an extended period of time with little service:
* SA XD-40 Service * SA MC Operator Take a poll please, just so we can get an idea of what people think! Thanks for playing!

well all i can tell you is i have quite a few handguns most of them are high quality Walthers, Beretta (Italian made), kimber, s&w, springfield
well out of all my handguns my xd40 service is by far my favorite and gets to be on my belt everyday but it has had one fail to feed and that puts it in second place behind my bersa thunder 9mm which is my only gun that hasnt jammed at some point. but with the xd40 i dont know if it was my fault or not so take however you want |

Choices are a little limited but the brand that no one wants to talk about has never broken a trigger bar and my XD has.

I would agree with you that G**** are uber reliable, but I believe the XD is just as dependable. The G**** vs. XD debate for me is not about reliability (since they are for all intents and purposes equal), but more about the safety. I am one that feels you really can never be too safe (obviously, to a certain extent -- I'm not talking about with an unloaded weapon). The grip safety did it for me.
