My First Failure!

Call me special, but I've never had a failure of any kind when I've been at the range. That is until today. Took my new XD9 for it's first spin and about 100 rnds into it, it happened. Pulled the trigger and pfff. The squib stuck just past the chamber in the barrel. I was running through some aging carry ammo, HST 124 +P. I say aging, but it was only about 9 mo. old. Gave me pause on the HST for a minute, but I think I'll still carry it.

It's never happened to me, but isn't an ammunition failure and not a weapon's failing?

Don't blame the XD because of some lazy ammo!

Ammo related and not the gun

XD's don't have failures! Naturally, it was a bad factory load.
