Call me special, but I've never had a failure of any kind when I've been at the range. That is until today. Took my new XD9 for it's first spin and about 100 rnds into it, it happened. Pulled the trigger and pfff. The squib stuck just past the chamber in the barrel. I was running through some aging carry ammo, HST 124 +P. I say aging, but it was only about 9 mo. old. Gave me pause on the HST for a minute, but I think I'll still carry it.

It's never happened to me, but isn't an ammunition failure and not a weapon's failing?

As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind.
